Dallas VOC Supports Pride

Victims of Crime are once again being represented by the Dallas Allstars in the 34th Alan Ross Freedom Parade on Sunday Sept. 17th, 2017 at 2pm. This years theme is “Stand up, Speak out” and the Allstars have a performance you won’t want to miss. The Allstars group has won 3 first place awards the last 3 years in multiple categories including “Best Performing Group” and “Best Social Commentary”. This years theme will delight the senses, inspire the audience, and show support for victims rights and the LGBTQ community.

Q: Why does Dallas Victims of Crime march in the parade, are you a LGBTQ non-profit?

A: Dallas Victims of Crime supports everyone in the community regardless of race, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, religion, disability, etc. Hate crimes are unfortunately all too real. Our organization stands with all victims of crime to raise awareness and we want the community to know they can turn to Dallas Victims of Crime for help.

Q: How can I help?

A: For this event we need 15 volunteers that can walk with us in the parade and provide water to the performers. If you can’t march then Donations to help pay for supplies such as food and water for the performers and volunteers are always appreciated.

Q: Where can I learn more?

A: There is a lot of detailed information about the parade and Pride events at http://www.dallaspride.org. If you’d like more information about Dallas Victims of Crime you may contact us here
