We receive calls from across the state of Texas from service providers, law enforcement, case workers, probation officers, etc. for help when they have a victim or suspect they have a victim. Traffick911 has worked more than 600 cases of sex trafficking, most which our team has been the initial identifier of the victim. Our goal is to aid in the identification process, and when appropriate, connect the victim case with specialized state and federal law enforcement investigators who have the expertise and resources to investigate the perpetrators. Our empowerment work is where we walk alongside survivors and their families with an experienced trauma-informed lens. Most often this takes place in the form of case management with our professional staff. Much of the work is connecting survivors and their families to trafficking-specific, trauma-informed victim services. But perhaps the greatest impact we see comes in the long-term relationships we develop. We walk with, mentor, and point survivors to wholehearted living.
